Spoken tutorial IIT Mumbai

Objective:

It is well known that seeing and hearing someone explain a process greatly improves understanding. On this site, you will find a variety of spoken tutorials that will help you to learn and use Free open source software(FOSS). The training includes C, C++, java, linux, Gimp, Python, scilab etc. are beneficial to B.Sc. computer science/ electronics students.

It has also facility to contribute to upload script of video for spoken tutorial. IIT Mumbai are also promoting translations of these tutorials into different languages. Once the tutorials are reviewed by experts, they will be hosted on our site and will become part of the public domain, thus benefitting all who are interested in it.

IIT Mumbai  conduct software training workshops using spoken tutorials and give certificates to those who pass an online test(more than 50% of total score in the test)

About this project:

The Spoken Tutorial project is the initiative of the ‘Talk to a Teacher’ activity of the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (ICT), launched by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Government of India.

The use of spoken tutorials to popularize software development and its use will be coordinated through this website.
