AIGNITE 2K26 was conceived as a dynamic confluence of innovation, intellect, and creativity, meticulously organized by the students of College of Applied Science Dhanuvachapuram. The two-day extravaganza served as an academic and cultural symposium, fostering technological acumen, collaborative spirit, and organizational excellence among participants.The Inaugural Ceremony of AIGNITE 2K26 was conducted with dignity and ceremonial grandeur at College of Applied Science Dhanuvachapuram on 9th January 2026. The function marked the formal commencement of the two-day techno-cultural fest and was graced by eminent dignitaries and distinguished guests.The programme commenced with a formal invocation, setting an auspicious tone for the event. The Welcome Address was delivered by the Principal, Smt. Jayagokila P, who extended a cordial reception to the chief guests, faculty members, participants, and students. In her address, she emphasized the significance of innovation, technical proficiency, and collaborative learning in shaping competent professionals for the future.The function was presided over by Dr. V. A. Arun Kumar, Director of Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD). In his presidential address, he highlighted the pivotal role of technology-driven education and encouraged students to utilize such platforms to enhance their intellectual and professional competencies.The official inauguration of AIGNITE 2K26 was performed by Arya S V, President of Perumkadavila Block Panchayat. In her inaugural speech, she lauded the institution’s efforts in organizing a comprehensive technical fest and motivated students to channel their creativity towards societal development and innovation.

Programme Highlights
Seminars and workshop
A series of intellectually stimulating seminars were conducted by experts in the field of Artificial Intelligence. The sessions addressed contemporary themes including AI in the health sector, AI in skill development and employment, the role of AI in school education and the impact of AI in social welfare. The deliberations provided profound insights into the societal and technological implications of AI. Hands-on workshops were organized to impart practical exposure to AI tools and applications. Participants were introduced to fundamental concepts of Machine Learning and real-time AI implementation strategies. AI Game zone

AI Tools Demonstration
The session provided participants with practical insights into how AI tools can enhance productivity, creativity, research, programming, and communication. The Valedictory Function commenced with a graceful and captivating Welcome Dance, which set an auspicious and vibrant tone for the ceremony. The performance, presented by a talented group of students, beautifully reflected the spirit of celebration and cultural richness. Their coordinated movements, elegant expressions, and artistic presentation received warm appreciation from the audience and dignitaries alike, marking a befitting beginning to the session.
The ceremony was formally inaugurated by C. K. Hareendran, Hon’ble MLA of Parassala. In his inaugural address, he delivered an inspiring and insightful speech, commending the institution for its unwavering dedication to academic excellence and the holistic development of students. He also congratulated the organizers for the meticulous planning and successful execution of the programme.
